LATIN INSPIRACION: DEBUT DISC HITS THE STREET - February 9, 2006
The Chicago-based orchestra LATIN INSPIRACION released its debut compact disc, LATIN INSPIRACION fans celebrated the release of the CD at Funky Buddha Lounge.
On this production recorded at Chicago's Rushing Winds Studio, the eight piece-orchestra delivers eight exciting Salsa Jazz instrumentals, including "Muchacha", "Against the Current" and "1050", originals by Francisco Merced.
John Rodriguez, bandleader and trombonist, produced the disc entittled "latin Inspiration," with Francisco Merced on piano: Jean-Christoophe Leroy on timbales and drums; David Velez on bongos, and Osvaldo Merced on congas. Freddie Colon and Andres Reyes add their talents as vocalists on selected tracks, with bassisst ben willis and percussionist joe frau as special guests.
